The total investment of the project is about 300 million US dollars. When the project is completed and put into production, it is estimated that the annual production capacity will reach 5 million semi steel radial tires and 900000 all steel radial tires, providing about 1600 jobs for the local people. The settlement of the project will not only further improve the industrial level of the West Port Special Zone, but also drive the development of local rubber planting and supporting industries.

Since the foundation stone laying of the General Tire Cambodia Project was started on January 27 this year, the construction of curing equipment in the production workshop, all underground infrastructure, the underground part of the power station and the underground infrastructure of the power transmission system has been completed. At present, the construction of the main substation and the steel structure workshop of the vulcanization workshop is under way, and the first tire is expected to be off line by the end of 2022. According to the latest news, on November 16, Jingsong Intelligent Company won an order of 260 million yuan for "finished tire warehouse system and embryo delivery system", and the buyer was General Tire Technology (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.
